West Dundee Hockey Club Player Rostering Financial Commitment Agreement

Roster Commitment Fee

By signing this agreement, the undersigned player (or the parent/legal guardian) agrees to the following terms regarding participation with the West Dundee Hockey Club, hereinafter referred to as the "WDHC":

Roster Commitment

Players may be rostered as early as the first night of tryouts. Once a player is rostered on any team affiliated with WDHC for the season, they are considered committed to that team and WDHC for the duration of that season.

Early Departure Fee

If the player chooses to leave WDHC after being rostered, regardless of whether the player joins another club or ceases playing hockey entirely, without holding an active roster spot on a WDHC travel team, the member (player or parent/guardian) agrees to pay a non-refundable fee of $3,000 to WDHC.

Purpose of Fee

This fee is intended to offset administrative, coaching, league registration, and organizational costs incurred by WDHC in the process of rostering the player.

Acknowledgment

The undersigned acknowledges that this fee is due in full upon the player's departure from the roster and is not contingent on future participation or non-participation in WDHC activities. Failure to pay the fee may result in WDHC pursuing available civil collection remedies, including but not limited to referral to a collections agency or legal action. Additionally, WDHC may place a financial hold on the player's account, which may prevent the issuance of a transfer/release in accordance with AHAI registration and transfer procedures until the financial obligation is satisfied.
