On Sunday, December 3rd the Leafs 03 Central States team played the Northern Express. Recently the team manager of the Express and parent of a player on that team, Rita Simioni, passed away unexpectedly. In a show of support the Leafs team had stickers with Rita initials on their helmets and invited the Express team to share a meal after the game. Our thought and prayers are with the Simioni Family, and with the Express Hockey Club as they try and get through this difficult time.
