LEAFS Hockey Club is proud to welcome Rick Berens as the new U15 Midget Coach.

He is a passionate, hardworking individual who consistently works to reach the goal of developing disciplined, successful young hockey players.

Rick has extensive coaching experience that includes leading teams like the Northwest Chargers, Flames and Huskies Hockey Clubs. Rick has also coached various levels of AAA teams including Chicago Young Americans, Chicago Mission and Team Illinois.

He has also served as a Hockey Director, Power Skating Instructor and Hockey Camp Director/Instructor for various clubs and his playing experience includes Michigan Falcons (CHL Detroit Red Wings), University of Denver (WCHA), Rochester Mustangs (USHL), Fremd HS Hockey and various Illinois AAA and AA Teams.

Rick is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to LEAFS Hockey Club and we’re glad to have him!
